Coaching FAQs

How is online coaching different from in-person training?

When you work with an in-person trainer, you likely spend one hour with them in the gym and you're done. Your interaction is limited to your session in the gym, which focuses on just exercise. With online coaching, we're able to support you with ALL aspects of your health journey--fitness, nutrition, lifestyle, mindset, education and so much more. Our coaching programs are also highly personalized to your unique needs and goals. We provide detailed workout videos of each move in your plan to make sure you are are doing the moves safely with proper form!

Do I get a meal plan?

We don't do restrictive meal plans (most reputable coaches don't) because they're simply not sustainable. What happens when you go out to eat? Or when life throws you a curveball? We teach you how to eat for your goals without feeling restricted and make sure you are educated and empowered to make the best decisions in whatever situation you're in. We provide recipes based on your food preferences or dietary restrictions and provide guidance and support to help you build healthy, balanced meals in the correct portions for your goals. 

How much is the investment for a coaching package? 

We have several packages at different rates depending on your personal goals and needs (ex. nutrition only packages, exercise only packages, and a combination of both!) If you're interested, the first step is to apply and book a call with our team. On your call, we'll make sure we're a good fit for each other and we can help you. Then, we'll share all the package options so you can pick the best program for you. Our packages are a similar investment to personal training at a gym--but of course, you get tons more than just one hour of support and workouts!

Do I need a gym membership or gym equipment to start?

Nope! Because our programs are written tailored to your goals and needs, we provide workouts based on what you have available to you! Workouts are written for gym-based or home-based settings. If you do want a home-based program, we simply require a set of resistance bands (usually $20-30 on Amazon and we send you the link so you know exactly what to get!)

Do you work with clients with PCOS or Hypothyroidism? 

Yes! We have several women who have had PCOS and Hypothyroidism go through our program, and see results. Many women in our program have found that their symptoms greatly reduce when implementing healthy lifestyle changes. We also encourage you to work with your medical provider as they advise you on any medical conditions.

What if I don't see results? 

We check in with you each week, so we can make sure you're seeing progress or make adjustments. If you're not seeing results there's usually a clear reason for it: Either you're not staying consistent to your programs, or the programs need adjustment. Our job is to work with you to figure out what's going on and support you as necessary! We might modify your plans to be easier for you to adhere to, or we might change your nutrition or fitness programs up to break a plateau.
